It emphasizes the need for policymakers, both at the local and broader government levels and in the private sector, to address these challenges effectively. The primary focus of this study is on the city itself, rather than the entire metropolitan region, in order to provide an accurate and up-to-date assessment of the condition of Black Atlanta. The key concerns addressed in this study include education, employment, health, housing, and criminal justice.
